Southeast New Mexico College Named a 2026 Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges
Carlsbad, NM — Southeast New Mexico College has been recognized as a recipient of the 2026 Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges award by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) in partnership with The EduLedger.
This national recognition highlights institutions demonstrating excellence in employee recruitment and retention practices, inclusive learning and work environments, and meaningful community engagement.

Award recipients will be honored during the NISOD Conference: Advancing Community College Student Engagement (ACCSE), held in Austin, Texas, May 23–26, 2026. Dr. Kevin Beardmore, President, will accept the award on behalf of SENMC.
