Mission
The mission of Adult Education is to cultivate life-long learning and strengthening the quality of life through educational and career preparation for members of the Southeast New Mexico community.
Our Goal and Vision
Adult Education prides itself in providing effective programs in High School Equivalency (GED®) preparation and courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) and “opening doors” to opportunities and student success.
Adult Education serves as a bridge to academic and vocational programs offered on campus and statewide post-secondary education.
High School Equivalency (HSE)
The Adult Education program prepares the adult student for the Official Accredited High School Equavelency exam.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
The Adult Education Program provides non-native speakers with ESL classes to improve their English language skills by building their vocabulary base, comprehension, life skills, and conversational abilities.
