Southeast New Mexico College’s General Obligation Bond project ($1 million of a $5 million estimated cost) is a renovation of our Main Building, the first facility constructed on our current campus in 1980. It will create a new, two-story main entrance, establishing a clear entry point to the college that will complement our front parking lot that opened two years ago. The project includes a new Admissions and Welcome Center on the second floor, an elevator in the entryway, and accessibility updates to the rooms used for public events and our Bookstore.

No Tax Rate Increase

Supporting GO Bond 3 for higher education will not increase your tax rates, but will help make important investments in higher education across New Mexico. This is possible because bonds that were approved for previous projects have been paid. This allows payment on bonds for new construction projects that benefit New Mexicans and our economy.
