Southeast New Mexico College Workforce Development Course Fee Assistance Program
The Southeast New Mexico College Workforce Development Course Fee Assistance Program provides financial support to residents of Eddy County who wish to advance their careers through specialized training. This program aims to reduce financial barriers and empower individuals to pursue high-demand certifications and credentials that contribute to the region’s economic growth and workforce readiness.
Eligible training includes programs such as Commercial Driver License (CDL) training, Radiological Control Technician training, and select online courses leading to licensure or industry-recognized credentials. With substantial course fee coverage and a straightforward application process, this initiative is designed to make career advancement more accessible to the community.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this financial assistance program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of Eddy County, New Mexico
- Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a covered Workforce Development program at Southeast New Mexico

Course Fee Coverage:
95%
The applicant is responsible for the remainder of the fee.
Application Process
Interested individuals can obtain an application form from the Southeast New Mexico College Workforce Development office by email or in person. The completed application form, along with proof of residency, should be submitted to the Workforce Development office for review. Submission details are on the application form.
- Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until program funds are depleted. Selection will be based on Eddy County residency on a first come, first served basis.
- Award Disbursement: Financial assistance awards will be applied directly to the student's course fees.
