Health Clinic
The SENMC Health Clinic exists to look after our SENMC community: students, faculty, and staff. We are your clinic. We cannot be your primary care provider, but you can see us in conjunction with your primary care provider, and we can usually provide some in-between services if you are between primary care providers.
Community Walk-In Clinic
We offer walk-in clinic services to the general public, aka our Carlsbad community. We are a teaching clinic, meaning that students in SENMC health programs may be providing patient care here as part of their clinical experience.

What Is A Teaching Clinic?
When you come to the SENMC Walk-In Teaching Clinic, you are helping train Carlsbad’s future phlebotomists, medical assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, and health care administrators.
Your assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan will be provided by our nurse practitioner, who has 30+ years of experience in adult medicine. Students may be performing a variety of tasks, such as getting your vital signs, drawing your blood, giving injections, or checking you in at the front desk.
As a patient in our Teaching Clinic, you are part of the solution to the shortage of local health care
