
Emphasis in Psychology
Associate of Arts Degree
The Social Science Department is pleased to announce a new Area of Emphasis in Psychologyunder the Associate of Arts Degree. This emphasis provides students with a foundational understanding of psychological principles, human behavior, and social interaction. The program also prepare students for further study or entry level work in fields such as counseling, human services, social work, and more.
Program Overview:
Students pursuing the Associate of Arts degree with an Emphasis in Psychology will complete a total of 15 credit hours (5 courses) in psychology and related coursework. This structured pathway offers both theoretical and applied perspectives in psychology, allowing students to explore various subfields and practical applications.
Emphasis Requirements – 15 Credits
Required Courses – Choose 5 from the following:
Fall Semester:

Spring Semester:

Note: Students may choose courses across different semesters to meet the 15-credit requirement.
