Last year's expo featured impactful presentations, engaging exhibits, and invaluable networking opportunities, and this year's event is set to raise the bar even higher. From groundbreaking research to hands-on demonstrations, attendees can expect to explore the latest projects and innovations from approximately 18 businesses and organizations in the STEM field, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment for all participants to learn and network. While the target audience for this event is K-12 students and SENMC college attendees, community members of all ages are invited to engage in hands-on experiments, explore interactive displays, and learn from industry professionals.steam-pic-1.jpg

One of the most exciting features of this year's expo is the prize drawing, where attendees will have the chance to win learning-based prizes, such as a brand-new tablet, LEGO and scientific kits, and more. Additionally, complimentary pizza and beverages will be provided for all participants, as they immerse themselves in the world of STEAM.

When asked about the networking and learning potential for the event, Erick Dominguez, STEM Program Manager at SENMC, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming expo, stating, "Our annual STEAM Expo is one of our largest events of the year, and thanks to our sponsor ConocoPhillips, we're able to provide incredible prizes for attendees to win. With the participation of over 18 organizations and businesses in the STEM field, including the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Bureau of Land Management, Los Alamos National Lab, and more, this year's expo promises to be our best one yet."

Admission is free, and again, all members of the community are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!
