HESI A2 Anatomy & Physiology Study Guide
SENMC Anatomy and Physiology Professor, Ron Girmus Recently Published HESI A2 Anatomy & Physiology Study Guide
(CARLSBAD, NM) Dr. Ron Girmus,Anatomy and Physiology professor at Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC), has recently published a HESI A2 Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide to help students and community members prepare for the Anatomy and Physiology section of the HESI exam that all pre-nursing students are required to take to enter the nursing program.
The purpose of the study guide is to the help future medical professionals in preparing for the HESI A2 exam; specifically the Anatomy and Physiology portion. Dr. Girmus, creator of the HESI A2: Anatomy & Physiology Study Guide, stated “The human body is intense, intricate, and complicated. While the HESI A2 exam is just a cursory, basic examination of the systems of the human body, there is still a lot of material to be covered. The study guide helps students to focus on the most-know areas of anatomy and physiology for the HESI A2 exam.”
The study guide with links to practice tests, Dr. Girmus's study notes, and other supporting resources, is available at the SENMC Library and SENMC Learning Assistance Center. A free printable copy of the HESI A2 Anatomy and Physiology Test Preparation is available online at the SENMC Library “Guides and Tutorials” page.
Dr. Girmus states there is “too much hype and worry about the test. With solid review of the resources I am providing, students will be prepared.” Dr. Girmus goes on to say, “Nothing reduces test anxiety like preparation and practice. I hope by providing this to our potential nursing students, the anxiety and worry about the test is lower, and we have more students feeling confident and willing to pursue a nursing degree knowing they have help and support from SENMC faculty.”
