Dianne Hardin, MSN, RN

Dianna Hardin is the Director and Professor of the Nursing Program at SENMC. She is originally from Carlsbad and has been with NMSUC/SENMC since 2012. She graduated with her Associate’s degree in Nursing from NMSU-C in 1989, her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from NMSU in 2007, and her Master’s degree in Nursing from UNM in 2011.

At the college Professor, Hardin teaches Pediatrics, Med Surge 1 and 2, pharmacology, and psych nursing. She is also on the curriculum committee and the faculty council. Within the community, she is on the Nursing Education Advisory Committee and the Carlsbad Nursing Scholarships.

During her time here, she was awarded employee of the month, and also wrote for the expansion grant. Professor Hardin frequently quotes Maya Angelou to her students that, ‘they may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.’
