Steven Gonzales

Steven Gonzales is the Director of Human Resources. He administers recruitment, performance management, employee relations, employment law and compliance, training and development, compensation and benefits, and administration of SENMC HR Department. The HR team ensures they have the essential tools to attract, develop, motivate, and retain a diverse workforce within a supportive environment at Southeast New Mexico College. Presently, Steven serves on the Administrative Committee.

Steven has over fifteen years of HR experience in the profit, non-profit, state, and federal level. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management. As SENMC continues to evolve, Steven hopes to have a successful impact on the SENMC employees, students, and campus.  Steven has been with SENMC since 2022.
