Carol Boyd is the Testing Coordinator of Academic Affairs in the Testing and Learning Assistance Centers (LAC). In her position, she is responsible for scheduling/proctoring tests and exams, such as ACCUPLACER and the Health Education Systems, Inc. or better known as HESI. Carol began working at SENMC in November 2022.
She is a native of southeastern New Mexico and graduated from Carlsbad Senior High School. After graduating high school, she began attending the college formerly known as New Mexico State University (NMSU–C). For several years after graduating from NMSU–C, she worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). While working at WIPP, Carol decided to pursue more education and relocated to Nebraska. She worked full-time at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) for almost 20 years graduating in 2003 with a B.A. majoring in communication and minoring in education.
