Jamil Al-Nouman

Dr. Jamil Al-Nouman is a Professor of Engineering in the Science and Engineering Department. Dr. Al-Nouman is originally from Yemen and has been with NMSUC/SENMC since 2008. He graduated with his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Sana’a University in 1995. In 2002 he graduated with his Master’s degree in Technology. In 2003 he graduated with his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2012, he graduated with both a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. His four previous graduations were from New Mexico State University.

At present Dr. Al-Nouman is on the Assessment Committee and the Grants Services Committee. In 2019, he received the Donald C Roush Award for teaching excellence.
