Sky Soto

Sky Soto is the current Director of Marketing and Publications at Southeast New Mexico College and has worked at SENMC/NMSUC since 2017. She takes care of branding, manages campus social media platforms, marketing and communication initiatives, campus publications, and campus imaging including photography and videography. Sky graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors from Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM. During her college career she received recognition for her photojournalism skills and was awarded a New Mexico Press Award for her photography of the Supreme Court Ruling of the Legalization of Same-Sex Marriage in 2015. In 2015, Sky interned for the National Geographic Channel’s Photo Desk Department in Washington, D.C. After college, Sky moved back to Carlsbad with a goal of making a difference in her community. During her free time Sky enjoys painting, ceramics, photography, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her dogs, cats, and her husband.
