Vivian Kelly-Bateman

Vivian has been a valued member of the SENMC library team since October 2022. With over a decade of experience, she has served as a certified Library Media Specialist at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in both Georgia and New Mexico.

Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of Georgia in Athens.

In her role as Library Specialist Lead at SENMC, Vivian manages our library systems and contributes to the broader library community as a member of the New Mexico Library Association. She actively participates on the Administrative Committee, the Distance Learning and Instructional Technology Committee, and several Search Committees.

A dedicated volunteer, she has engaged in numerous community events, including Riverblitz, the Eddy County Fair, Every Third Thursday, the Cavern City Renaissance Festival, and College Fair Days.
